Terms & Conditions for Event Participation
These Terms and Conditions, as may be amended from time to time, apply to all our services directly or indirectly (through distributors) made available online, through any mobile device by email or by telephone. By accessing, browsing and using our (mobile) website or any of our applications through the platform (hereafter collectively referred to as the “website”) and/or by registering for the Event, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions set out below (including the privacy statement).

1. General
1.1. Pink Ribbon Walk 2022 is organised by Breast Cancer Foundation and is referred to collectively as “The Organiser” in accordance with the Pink Ribbon Walk 2022’s Terms and Conditions.
1.2. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photograph, motion picture, recording, or any other record of this Event and its participants for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising and future publicity for the Event.
1.3. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notification.
1.4. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event without prior notification, in which case, the fees are non-refundable.
1.5. The Organiser’s decision is final and The Organiser (and/or any of its officers and employees) is hereby irrevocably released from all or any liabilities and NO further/other claims against The Organiser (and/or any of its officers and employees) arising out of the Agreement.
1.6. By registering for the Event, participants are deemed to have agreed to the following:
• Providing true, accurate, current and complete information about the Participant contained in the registration form (the “Registration Data”); and (ii) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.
• Participants(s) are deemed to have given their consent to their information being collected and used for the purpose of organising Pink Ribbon Walk and for such use as permitted under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
• Receiving information from The Organiser about related promotions and Event updates via Email.

2. Registration
2.1. All registrations will be done online at www.pinkribbonwalk.sg.
2.2. No registration will be accepted on Event day of Pink Ribbon Walk Fun Challenge
2.3. A confirmation email, with the name, category, and their team members will be sent after the registration is successfully completed.
2.4. The registration will only be completed when full payment is made.
2.5. Registration entry is not transferable upon successful registration
2.6. To ensure that the registration details are correct, participants must check and update their personal particulars before making payment during registstion. Please note that only changes to personal particulars will be accepted.
2.7. The Organiser reserves the right to close registration before the official closing date should participation reach its maximum capacity.
2.8. The Organiser will not be responsible for any dispute arising from incomplete or incorrect information submitted by participants.
2.9. The Organiser reserves the right to limit and refuse entries.

3. Cancellation
3.1. Once the registration has been duly processed, there shall be no fee refund for participants who do not eventually take part for any reasons whatsoever.

4. Pink Ribbon Walk Fun Challenge
4.1 Only registered participants for the Pink Ribbon Walk Fun Challenge are allowed access to the Start Point.
4.2 Participants must wear their assigned bibs on the front of their attire near their chest area during the Pink Ribbon Walk Fun Challenge.
4.1. All participants are required to report at the Start Point at least 30 minutes prior to flag off time.
4.2. A grace period of 15 minutes after the commencement of the Pink Ribbon Walk Fun Challenge will be given for latecomers. Any participant who reports later than this grace period will not be allowed to participate in the Pink Ribbon Walk Fun Challenge.
4.3. All participants must only wear their assigned participant bib. Transfer of participant bib is strictly not allowed.

5. Safety & Medical Advisory
5.1. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by The Organiser to ensure participants’ safety, participants are advised to exercise due care and The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss and/or damage, whether personal or otherwise, and howsoever arising.
5.2 Due to safety reasons, bicycles, in-line skates, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel-run objects are strictly not allowed on the course other than official race and medical vehicles.
5.3. The Organiser reserves the right to stop any participant from continuing the Pink Ribbon Walk Fun Challenge for safety reasons.
5.4. Should any participant feel unwell in the course of the race, he/she should stop and seek immediate medical attention at the designated medical posts.
5.5. Participants should prepare themselves adequately over several weeks before the Event by gradually increase the duration and intensity of their training.
5.6. Participants are advised not to attend the Event should they have fever, cough, breathing difficulties or severe muscle ache.
5.7. Participants need to be fully vaccinated to take part in the Fun challenge
5.8. Participants who have doubt about their suitability to participate in this Event (e.g. those on medication or those who have had recent health conditions) are advised to consult their medical practitioner prior to participation in the Event.

WAIVER
1. I fully understand and acknowledge the risks involved in my participation in the Event and I accept full responsibility and assume all such risks.

2. I hereby represent, warrant and undertake to The Organisers the following with full knowledge that they shall be relied upon by The Organisers in accepting my registration: –
i. My personal particulars disclosed in the registration form are accurate, full and complete;
ii. I do not have any medical condition that would affect my safety or physical well-being.
iii. I am medically and physically fit and competent to participate in the Event; and
iv. I shall dutifully and fully abide by these Rules and Regulations and any applicable laws.

3. I confirm that the representations, warranties and undertakings herein are true and accurate.

4. I (including my heirs, successors and assigns) undertake not to make any claims or lodge any complaints whatsoever against The Organisers, Sponsors or officials of the Event for any injury, death or loss/damage to property sustained during the Event/disputes over any matter in relation to the Event.

5. I (including my heirs, successors and assigns) agree to hold The Organisers, Sponsors, appointed officials/suppliers (each an “Indemnified Party”) harmless and keep each Indemnified Party fully and effectively indemnified from and against any and all losses, costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis), claims, damage and expenses whatsoever which any of them may incur (directly or indirectly) as a result of my breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.

6. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed under Singapore laws and I agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts. I have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

7. I am agreeable to The Organiser’s or its appointed vendor to email me on any service related updates with regard to this Event purpose only.
